Hi friends, we are off schedule at the moment! I do have another Sundays are for mothers to publish (Yesterday, but it will be out this coming Sunday),
And I’m likely going to be publishing a little more often than a Wednesday until mid march as I’m currently calling in the mother makers!
Anyone who knows me, knows I deeply honour birth. I find the initiation from maiden to mother incredibly sacred, and one that holds massive amounts of inner transformation for us all.
Motherhood requires us to walk through the fire, and every single one of us will have our own flames licking our feet as we navigate who we are as a woman and as a mother.
I am literally on my knees in awe for the mothers. The longer I am one, the more I am in complete servitude for the capacity that mothers hold.
Knowing ourselves as women alone is no easy feat and is ever changing.
The invitations of our own birth,
our first bleed,
our first sex,
our first love,
our marriage,
our pregnancies (All of them),
the birthing of our child/children,
when they leave the nest,
menopause,
and beyond…
Have us changing and shifting and morphing.
We must find ourselves within societal constructs and invisible rulebooks of what it mean to be a good woman, a good mother, a good partner, lover, friend.
We must burn them to the ground and see what is left behind.
And though we are not the only ones walking our inner terrain into self understanding, the path of a mother, is incredibly unique.
If you were to ask me what lights me up in passion right now,
I would tell you - without skipping a beat…
It’s the mother makers.
It’s the mothers who are literally raising the next generation, reparenting themselves while they are at it, AND creating and serving in the world through their creative offerings/ businesses and products.
Creative powerhouses are sexy as fuck. That’s you.
Even if you aren’t in a season of creating right now.
When I speak of creation, i’m talking about those home making, podcasting, coaching, yogi’s, network marketing, content creating, running businesses, services, products, creating music, art, photography, design, writing. All of it.
Those translating the life force within them, through the filter of themselves and putting it out into the world.
I thought that the mother who wants to work was a mother completely under the spell of a patriarchal and capitalist society, born from a generation who were raised in the industrial era.
Now I know, that many of us - simply feel more ourselves when we can take the magic and the ideas that are within us, and turn them into something outside of ourselves.
We birth.
We birth babies, we birth businesses, we birth ideas, projects.
We turn our homes into sanctuaries.
We turn our minds into gardens.
It’s what we do. We take a seed and bloom it.
This poem from the book : Untie the strong woman, blessed mothers immaculate love for the wild soul
shares it beautifully.
“This would be us too”
Just as our mother,
Mother Miaz has shown us
the way to come back:
Plant
Just
One
Seed.
We do know how to plant.
Whatever small seed is left of us. . .
For we are the children of the dreamers, we are the children of the martyrs, we are the children of our Mother, forever.
We are the one last seed.
Covered in blood…
we will ever rise up.
and live again.
ever find ways
to multiply,
to thrive,
to live again on earth,
whilst spinning through the heavens…
into the arms of our mother.
I find it beautiful because it encapsulates what we do as mother.
And very specifically, the mother maker.
The mother who takes a seed (An idea) and gestates it, nurtures it. For months. Sometimes years. Waiting for her life-force to breathe energy into it.
We vision timelines, many lives we could claim as our own.
We have the ability to burn it all to the ground, or to water it all daily.
We take the seed, then birth it into reality,
until it can walk beside us rather than sucking from our breast.
We are the creators.
The path of the mother maker, requires us to be energetically attuned to our children and to our business ideas.
These births are all initiations.
Just as our children initiate us deeper into womanhood.
Our ideas imitate us deeper into our visions, and call us forward to recalibrate in order to align with the timelines coming for us.
The mother maker is an incredibly unique type of woman and one I feel incredibly in service to in this season of my life.
I want to support you in evolving paradigms, being apart of a community of expansive mothers having high level conversations when it comes to creativity, mothering, intuitive business and more.
I want to lift the load of doing it all alone and know that there are others walking this path beside you, who are needed by their babies and their big visions daily too.
I want to give you tools, and give you the soil to grow more into the woman in your minds eye.
This is for the mother makers : The Art of Alchemy.

“…simply feel more ourselves when we can take the magic and the ideas that are within us, and turn them into something outside of ourselves.”
This is everything Kat, I feel like you’ve translated a wildly intangible feeling/sensation/yearning that mothers have and made it real.
I am all about the seed analogies this year, as I tend to my own soil, and this just feels so perfect. We are meant for this ✨
You’re offering sounds absolutely stunning and I’d so love to join; I’m in the UK so the time difference isn’t ideal but I’m hoping I could make it live at least a couple of times… are they going to be quite interactive or mostly led by you, workshop style?
This part brought me to tears: "The mother who takes a seed (An idea) and gestates it, nurtures it. For months. Sometimes years. Waiting for her life-force to breathe energy into it." because it feels like it's been years since I have had the energy and passion to create in the way I wish to for my ideas. This whole post has reminded me so much of why I do what I do and why I want to do what I want to do. Thank you so much for sharing you with us. I would not be the woman I am today without your shares and love and support <3
