Three part ritual to close and open the years
Close the year with intention, start the next with clarity, discounted subscriptions and a 5 minute video!
In this article, I explore how we can close the year with intention, start the next with clarity and in an upward spiral, I offer discounted subscriptions below and a video!
We explore the Gregorian calendar, alternative calendars and how they tie us to specific timelines of success.
I also share my own three part closing ritual that I have done with Tully for 7 years in a row, this will be our 8th.
Part one: The practice of closing energetic loops in our life and finding freedom within internal (and external) commitments.
Part two: A practice for evidence stacking the gold from the year (Even if you didn’t have your best year)
Part three: Scripting/ bringing forward your seeded intentions through the written word. I’ve included this with a five minute VIDEO.
Because it’s coming to the end of the year, I’d love to offer all of you who are currently free subscribers, the opportunity to upgrade to becoming a paid subscriber with a 30% discount for the year. This is only available THIS WEEK.
I hope this helps, even a little, for those of you who want to be here but $ is tight, or those of you who have been on the fence. I am so excited to continue growing this community of creatives into the next year. Of course, my intentions is to call in the mother maker archetype, aka the mothers who are dancing with raising businesses and children (Yes including those who have flown the nest), those wanting to explore more intuitive and soulful approaches to business, sales, creativity, self employment, and a more holistic approach to motherhood and artistry. Bonus if you enjoy some poetry too. Though, this space is not exclusive and if you believe you’d have benefit from being connected here, you are welcome.
The thing is, with the internet these days - is that you can probably go and get creativity, business, or other advice… kinda anywhere. Though I feel as though it’s a lot more challenging to get advice that feels like a YES in your soul. To read articles as a mother, knowing that you don’t have to sacrifice time and presence with your children in order to be on the path of your creative dreams.
When you subscribe here, you aren’t only getting access to my personal perspective on many of these things, that have been tried and practiced for years, but also aspects of my network of incredible teachers, friends, and creatives. Most importantly, to feel a sense of belonging to a club of sorts, ya know - the mum club, but with a twist. A space where you can develop your craft, explore holistic motherhood philosophy, indulge in poetry, interviews and expansive transparent conversations that leave you feeling uplifted and a lot less alone in this journey. A space where we can live through the eyes of the artist and romance this season of our life, a little more, while staying grounded to many of the realities only we know.
In 2024 I will be raising the investment into this publication. This WONT CHANGE if you are ALREADY a paying subscriber, only for those who are new. This is to stay in a clear value exchange as I’ll be introducing subscriber perks for live monthly workshops with high end teachers in the world of creativity, intuitive business, and doing my best to find facilitators who can really support you on your journey as a mother, maker, mystic.
That means now is your chance to upgrade your subscription and join us in a more intimate way. If you are brand new here and don’t feel as though you know me well enough - fair enough! You can read more about me here About Kat River
As a paying subscriber, you get access to 3-4 articles from me a month, and 2x Mother Maker interviews, my full archive of over 90+ articles, and moving forward into 2024, monthly live video workshops with guest facilitators on creativity, soulful sales, intuitive business, motherhood and beyond. For those who have subscribed for free, you’ll receive 1-2 articles a month.
** Subscriptions can only be upgraded through the desktop / safari or email versions of this post, unfortunately not through the app xx
And with that, Let’s begin~
Friends,
I’m probably the 12th person this week who’s saying to you
How did this year go by so fast?!
I’ll repeat the same sentence next year too, because, honestly, time just feels faster and faster as life moves on.
I mean, it makes sense.
Our childhoods felt slow because one hour of a seven year life, was a much larger percentage of our life than one hour of a thirty year life.
Therefore our seven year old brains experienced time a lot more slowly.
Do you remember watching the clock at school right before the end of day?
Even those minutes felt like hours sometimes.
Whereas now, I can’t seem to slow life down.
It also has me thinking of how quickly time will move on by, when we are seventy five.
These last few months since little Ren was born, have absolutely morphed into a big blob of time.
Normally I’m pretty present with the fact that time is an illusion, it doesn’t actually exist. The minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years - all made up by someone.
I understand moving with the moon. Noticing the changing seasons. Nature marks time for us.
Gregorian calendar though? I’m not all that about it.
